International Dot Day
On Friday, September 14 we celebrated International Dot Day (9/15) by reading Peter H. Reynolds’ book The Dot which “challenges us to ‘Make your mark and see where it takes you”. We then created our own dots by dotting several colors of liquid watercolors onto small paper plates. The children used straws to blow these dots of color around the plate. They had a great time experimenting with mixing colors and rotating the plate as they blew. Check out the pictures of the children below as well as our dot display hanging in the hallway.
